ADJECTIVE CLAUSE  and  NOUN CLAUSE Today we are going to learn The Adjective Clause and Noun Clause .  What Is an Adjective Clause? An  adjective clause  is a dependent clause that, like an adjective, modifies a noun or pronoun. Adjective clauses begin with words such as  that, when, where, who, whom, whose, which , and  why . An essential (or restrictive) adjective clause provides information that is necessary for identifying the word it modifies. A nonessential (or nonrestrictive) adjective clause provides additional information about the word it modifies, but the word’s meaning is already clear. Nonessential clauses are always set off with commas. What Is a Noun Clause? A  noun clause  is a dependent clause that acts as a noun. NARRATIVE TEXT  The definition of narrative text Narrative text is a text or imaginary story that is used for amuse or entertain the readers that lead the reader to crisis in the store and ultimately find a solution. The structure of the text : - The Orientation : It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced in a setting of place and time. - The Complication : Where the problems in the story developed. - The Reorientation : Where the problems in the story is solve and tells the ending of the text/story. Phonetic : Vowels This table shows English vowel sounds with  IPA  symbols ( International Phonetic Alphabet ) and standard symbols ( std ). The words in parentheses represent the IPA transcription. Standard symbols are used in most English dictionaries.
